India Clinch Series by 4-1 Margin Over West Indies

In the last match though India did not able to score more than 300 runs but they can save their modest total 267 runs which they scored for the loss of six wickets. 

Before retired hurt Manoj Tiwary scored 104 off 126 balls, his first ODI century. And in-form Virat Kohli scored 80 runs. With this 80 runs, Virat Kohli has become the top run-getter in 2011 in ODIs scoring 1381 runs at an average of 47.62 in 34 ODIs, surpassing Jonathan Trott's aggregate of 1315 runs at an average of 52.60 in 29 ODIs. 

Manoj Tiwary and Virat Kohli have shared a stand of 117 (unbroken) for the fourth wicket, India's highest at Chepauk, surpassing the 106 between Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid against the West Indies on January 27, 2007. In the absence of Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir let the team and maintained his unbeaten record as captain, winning all six ODIs.

Chasing 267 runs, West Indies innings came to an end at 233 runs in 44.1 overs. Kieron Pollard's stunning maiden century went in vain as India beat West Indies by 34 runs to win the fifth and final one-day international to record an emphatic 4-1 series triumph. 

Kieron Pollard scored 119 runs off 110 balls and hits four 4s and ten 6s. Manoj Tiwary has received Man of the Match award and Rohit Sharma has received his second Player of the Series award.
