4 Steps to Download an Image from Google Maps

We all know that Google Maps is web mapping service developed by Google and it was launched on 8 February 2005. Google Maps offers satellite imagery, aerial photography, street maps, 360° panoramic views of streets (street view) and route planning for traveling by foot, bicycle, car and air. Users can easily create an Google Maps account and map the desired/missing places as well as upload photos. If you have a Gmail account, you can use the same for all the Google products.

None can download images from Google Maps directly. To download any image, you have to follow some tech tips. So friends, in this post you will lean step by step how to download any image from Google Maps. Let's start!

Step 1. At first you need to visit “Google Maps” (maps.google.com or google.com/maps) website in your desktop browser.

Step 2.  Now locate "Search Google Maps" search box at the top left corner of the page and type the favourite location.




Step 3. After that click on the desired image that you want to download and then click Report a problem option located at the bottom right corner of the page.

You can also use option button which locates near the image title or near the uploader's profile name to get Report a problem option. See the below image.



Step 4. After that right click on the image and then click Save image As... and then select download location from the pop-up window and hit the Save button.

That's it.
