Page Orientation : Make Page Portrait to Landscape and Landscape to Portrait in OpenOffice / LibreOffice

OpenOffice and LibreOffice is an open source office suite application software developed by Sun Microsystem and Document Foundation. OpenOffice is a windows version of LibreOffice which is used as an alternate of microsoft office in windows computer. OpenOffice / LibreOffice contains word processor (Writer), spreadsheet (Calc), presentation application (Impress), drawing application (Draw), formula editor (Math), and database management application (Base). The default file format was .odf (Open Document Format). You can easily use OpenOffice/LibreOffice if you know how to use Microsoft Office. In this post, you will learn how to change page orientation i.e., portrait to landscape and vice versa.

Steps to Change Page Orientation

You need to perform the below steps to change the page orientation of a page in OpenOffice/LibreOffice writer.


Step 1. At first open OpenOffice / LibreOffice Writer in your computer.

Step 2. After that click Format in the menu bar and then click Page button to switch to the page style setup window.

You can also switch to the page style setup window just by right clicking on the text area of the page and then need to click Page button.


Step 3. In the orientation section, you will see by default portrait is selected. Now to make the page landscape select the radio button against Landscape. If your page is landscape then select the radio button against Portrait.


That's it! In this way you can change page orientation (portrait to landscape or landscape to portrait) in OpenOffice / LibreOffice writer.
